Providing Joomla! and WordPress CMS extensions

Developer Attribution Documentation

Developer Attribution gives the developer of a website an easy way to provide multiple 'back links' to their own website. The developer is able to enter multiple back links and the Developer Attribution plugin will display a random back link on each page refresh.

Installation

When you have downloaded the 'plg_developerattribution-*.zip' folder - you will need to login to your administrator area, navigate to 'Extensions -> Manage -> Install -> Upload Package File'. Simply click the 'Browse...' button and select the 'plg_developerattribution-*.zip' folder that you have just downloaded and click the 'Upload & Install' button. As soon as Joomla! has finished the installation process, you will be notified that the install was successful.

Enabling the Developer Attribution plugin

In your administrator area, navigate to 'Extensions -> Plugins' and filter on the 'Type' selecting 'Content'. This will list all of the content plugins that you have installed - simply enable the 'Content - Developer Attribution' plugin.

Configuring the Developer Attribution plugin

In the 'Developer Links' textarea - simply enter the text/links that you want to be displayed. HTML only and one per line, an example;

Website developed by <a href="http://example.com/" target="_blank">Company Name</a>
Developed by <a href="http://www.seanclement.co.uk/" target="_blank">Sean Clement</a>

Using the Developer Attribution plugin

Within your article/module, use the tag {developerattribution} in the article/module body - the plugin will take care of the rest.
